In all, twenty baskets were filled with food, toys and clothing. PLAINDEALER PHOTO CRASH FATAL TO COUNTY MAN •£ (Continued from page 1) t Slippery roads caused an accident last Thursday evening involving cars driven by Gladys Kupczyk of 3609 Orchard Beach, and Richard Hansen of 2104 W. Mill lane, both McHenry. Mrs. Kupczyk said her car skidded onto the shoulder of the roadway on Riverside drive and attempted to return when she noted Hansen's car come over a hill. He told deputies he was unable to stop and avoid a collision - because of the ice. DELBERT M. WOLDT Delbert M. Woldt, 24, was pronounced dead on arrival in Harvard hospital early Saturday, Dec. 28. He had been thrown from the wreckage of his car when it struck a utility pole sometime earlier. The deceased resided at 4314 Crestwood, McHenry. He was a native of Marshfield, Wis., where he was born Jan. 4,1944. Survivors are his wife, Elizabeth Ann Justen Woldt; one son, Delbert, Jr., 2; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elva Woldt, of Marshfield; and one brother and one sister. The body was taken to the George R. The deceased had been a Chicago fireman for twenty-two years. Survivors are his wife, Genevieve; one daughter, Mrs.John (Mary) Feyerer; three sons, Lt. Martin J. LAURA E. MUNSON Mrs. Laura E. Munson, 58, a resident of 7204 Hiawatha drive, Wonder Lake, for twentyeight years, died Dec. 27 in Community General hospital, Sterling, 111. Mrs. Munson was born April 24,1910, in Chicago. She leaves her husband, Magnus, to whom she had been married 38 years; one son, Richard, of Streamwood; three grandchildren; one sister, Mary Bankier of Evanston and one brother, Ernest Lowe, of Chicago. Rev. R. Wright of the Wonder Lake Bible church will officiate at last rites to be held at 1 o'clock Tuesday at the George R. Justen & Son funeral home. Burial will be in Woodland cemetery. AID UP IN SEPTEMBER Increases in Old Age Assistance, Disability Assistance, and Aid to Dependent Children during September more than offset decreases in Blind Assistance and General Assistance. Harold O. Swank, director of the Illinois Department of Public Aid, said an increase of4,604 brought the number of persons on the rolls to 500,261 in September, compared to 495,657 in August. The current caseload is 49,153 above the September 1967 total of 451,108persons.
