Extend Swim Registration At Wonder Lake In the belief that perhaps some people forgot to register for the Wonder Lake swim program last weekend, or may be opening summer homes for the first time over the holiday weekend, a second registration is planned. The Woman's club of Wonder Lake, which conducts the Red Cross swim program, will hold another sign-up day Sunday, July 2, at the fire house on the east side of the lake, between the hours of 11 and 2 p.m. If anyone should be prevented from registering their youngsters, Mrs. Pat Fitzgerald or Mrs. Helen Hearity, co-chairmen of the program, may be contacted. Volkmar of Spring Grove, charges that on June 23, Marilynn Volkmar of Crystal Lake, committed the offense of criminal damage to property in The disaster in Rapid City, S.D., and now even greater tragedy in Pennsylvania and the East coast states, has caused staggering costs to the American Red Cross. To alleviate the suffering of hundreds of thousands, Red Cross workers are on the scene in full force providing food, clothes, medical supplies and shelters in dozens of stricken towns. These services will continue for many months, until rehabilitation is com­ pleted. The governors and mayors have pointed out that the American Red Cross is designated by Congress as the primary volunteer agency to meet the emergencies of family needs in this grave hour of tragedy. These services are rendered free of charge and on a grant basis. Mayor Harold A. Swenson, of Harrisburg, Pa., has urged "all citizens and agencies to give full cooperation to the American Red Cross and asked all contributions be made to the Relief Flood campaign." More than 37,000 homes alone were damaged in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. On June 26, Red Cross opened 200 more that she slashed a tire on a truck owned by Volkmar.
