Our only re quest is that writers lim it themselves to 300 words or less - signature, full address and phone num ber. We ask too, that one individual not write on the same subject more than once each month. We re serve the right to delete any material which we consider libelous or in ob- jectional taste.) ON TAXATION "Editor: "Why did we move to Arkansas? The unfair taxation in McHenry county was a great factor in prompting us to move. Out of a 40-acre piece of land we have 1 acre. There is no elec tric, no water, no telephone, besides being landlocked (no road). Consequently, without a road you cannot build a house unless it is put in by helicopter. "Our taxes are $86.70. The acre adjoining our^is in the same condition and the taxes on that acre are $57. Can anyone justify such a discrepancy in tax evaluation? Perhaps this is why so many people are moving out of Illinois, especially McHenry county. I pity the poor people moving into McHenry county unaware of the unfair tax situation.
