That was to avenge an early season setback at the hands of the Streaks 70 to 46. Although the locals failed to win, they did serve notice that they have come a long way since December. v Coach Gary Gray had nothing but praise for his squad. He was impressed with the good game they played, the execution and poise of the team. Billy Hurckes put the Warriors up by one with a field goal with 50 seconds remaining in the overtime. The Streaks again grabbed the lead with 20 seconds showing on the clock. The locals worked the ball in to Randy Schiller who sank the shot and was fouled, putting McHenry ahead 60 to 59. Following the missed free throw, Woodstock sank a desperation shot that won the game 61 to 60. Well that's what we had on Jan. 19, the night of the big dance spon sored by the Harmony Snowmobile Club held at the VFW. But the rain didn't dampen the turnout we had at the dance and it was a terrific success. So successful that at the Illinois Association of Snowmobile Clubs state con vention at Rock Falls, 111., on Jan. 26 and 27 a check for $500 was presented to the Association by Harmony Club's state delegate, Ed Kaska. Many members worked so hard to make this event a success and we are happy so many people came and enjoyed that wonderful band from way up there in Wisconsin.
