Purpose of the plan is to develop a program to further reduce morbidity and mortality of infants in the state. Staub emphasized that the primary emphasis of the guidelines is educational. Bolger, county administrator, received word Tuesday to cut off 173 more men from CWA work this week which will bring the quota of the county down to 402. This is fifty percent less than the original quota of 851. Alex Adams and Florenz Stenger were entertained at a surprise party in honor of their birthdays Sunday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Adams. Arthur Thompson is recovering at his home east of the river from a broken leg suffered in a fall on the ice. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Knox and family have moved from the upper apartment in the Wattles building in West McHenry to Woodstock where they have purchased a home. The place they vacated will be occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Bob Smith. Roger Wilbrandt of Riverside drive, McHenry, is one of 150 students at the Galesburg division of the University of Illinois who made grade averages of "B" or better last semester. Feb. 28 was the eightieth anniversary of Harvard as an incorporated community. The act incorporating Harvard as a village was approved on Feb. 28, 1869. Harvard is today a proud and lively city of 3,500 preparing to hold a major election in April. At a meeting of the residents of Wonder Woods held recently a volunteer fire department was formed and the subdivision was divided into four districts. A siren will be installed soon. A strong Crystal Lake team lived up to its "Tiger" name here Friday night beating our Warriors for the second straight time. There were some fans that didn't get to see the game because the admission doors were locked due to the biggest crowd in the Warrior gym this year.
