Cary and McHenry area. Sister St. Clair is from Salt Lake City, Utah. She is the fourth member of her family of six to go on a mission for the church. She has previously served in Springfield. Decatur, Danville and Canton, 111. Sister Hill is from Provo, Utah. She comes from a family of four children and is the first to serve on a mission. The Sisters are part of the full- time missionary force numbering about 17,000 young men and women who serve without pay for one and one-half to two years. Although women have been called as missionaries in the church for many years, this is the first time Sisters have worked in this area. Steve Cuda Is Named University Resident Assistant Steve uuda, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cuda of 3911 Clearbrook, was named resident assistant at St. John's university, school officials have announced. Resident assistants are students whose records have demonstrated their maturity and dedication to the purposes of St. John's university. Working in cooperation with the student activities director and the coordinator of residence programs, these men act as leaders in their house or dormitory floor and are responsible for the discipline there. They also act as the students' liaison with the administration in matters concerning dormitory life. These men are responsible along with the faculty residents for developing their houses as effective student communities. ATCAREER CONFERENCE Mr. and Mrs. Patrick J. Letizia, 1115 N. River road, of the HP. Sharpe agency, returned from Des Moines, Iowa, Friday where they attended a Career conference of the Central Life Assurance company.
