Bemie and Tony Misiak and the honored couple, Jack and Harriet VanKanegan, drove down Lake Shore Drive on their way to pick up Ed and Gloria Coughlin. Plans had been made by the two couples to take the VanKanegans out to dinner to the Chateau Louise to celebrate their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary. As they drove slowly along, what to the wondering eyes -of the VanKanegans should appear but forty-five people standing in the drizzling rain on the lawn of the Coughlin home. In the hands of some was a huge sign saying, "Welcome to the Chateau Louise!" This was the surprise beginning of an evening Jack and Harriet are not likely to forget. Old friends, including the Jack Kramers and the Chuck Sullivans were there to share in the happy occasion. We add our congratulations to Jack and Harriet and wish them many, many more happy an niversaries! May was the month for showers. A little bird chirped the news of the following to us. For the girls, high series, Lynn Raske; high game, and low game, Janet Pickell. After bowling, pizza and pop were enjoyed at a pizza parlor.
