JERRY'S PHILLIP'S 66 Jerry's Phillip's 66 split a doubleheader with the Rusty Nail last week in two exciting games. The first game ended in a heart breaking score of 8-7. The second game Jerry Bellak came through with two homeruns and a double to lead his team on to victory in a final score of 10-8r * Next week they will try their best to take two from the first place team - the Old Bridge. Bob Tire often takes time out from his very busy schedule to watch the games, along with his two sons, Deiter and Eric. COACH MELONE Coach Melone is leading his Tiger team onto victory after victory. WOMEN'S SOFTBALL Mr. K's Women's Softball team lost to the McHenry State Bank in a final score of 12-7 First name basis: Judy's place is at third base, no one could play it better, Judy is also a fine hitter as she was 3 for 4 in Tuesday night's game. Marlene usually plays out- figld and does it well, she has a good afm on her!! She came through with a base hit, and a HOMERUN as well!! Mara plays the infield and does a good job i/i spite of a sprained finger. She was one for four the other night. Stacy also plays the infield and can really catCh those hard hit balls! . v .-»• ,. . . Margie has been playing the outfield and trying her best.„ Alice is our Captafn and usually plays short center, quite well I might add. The other night she also came through with a couple of base hits. Ann is our catcher and does it well, she is also a good hitter!! Kathy plays first base* and the outfield and does just fine., Debbie also plays first base and she too does well. Betty plays the infield and tags the gals out. Pat and Char are the pitchers and are equall ^ood. They both can hit too.
