From Public Aid Public aid recipients who are having difficulty getting prescriptions filled at down- state pharmacies or are being told their "green cards" are not acceptable are being urged to contact their local public aid office for information about alternative suppliers of their prescribed medications, ac cording to public aid director, James L. Trainor. He said, "The toll-free telephone hotline being used to report suspected cases of welfare abuse can offer no assistance in locating phar macies which are cooperating with the department in ac cepting the green card in payment for medicine." Physicians, as well as clients, who need to know which local pharmacies will accept the green card from public aid clients also may call the county public aid office for assistance.
