Spring Grove. The young man became an Eagle Scout that day. Ceremonies began with the presentation of the flags by the color guard and pledge of allegiance. Pastor Carl Elwood of All Saints gave the in­ vocation which was followed by an introduction from Ed Lilla, committee chairman, and presentation of new leaders, James Lilla and Paul Dodd, assistant scoutmasters. Both Troop 128 and Explorer Post 128 charters were presented. Scoutmaster Charles Ozburn and Assistant Scoutmaster Jeff Lilla gave out the various skill awards, merit badges and rank wards. Ending the Troop Court of Honor, Dale Morin and Matt Cummings (the first two bikers back from the Explorers' 300 mile bikeathon) presented approximately $800 to Mrs. Margaret Kisstler. Mrs. Dolly Sterling accepted for Easter Seals and congratulated the post for its concern for the community. The Eagle Court of Honor was turned over to master of ceremonies, Post Advisor Glen Neuman, who introduced Scout dignitaries and community leaders. The guest speaker was William Grogg, district vice- chairman. When Paul Bauer and Larry Morin escorted Eagle Scout candidate, Dale Morin, front and center, a resume was given by Joe Tranellis, troop committee chairman, which encompassed Dale's achievements through his nine years of Scouting. The Eagle charge was read by Clyde Kangas, district com­ missioner. Assistant Scout­ master Tom Morin, who two years ago became an Eagle Scout, escorted his mother, Mrs. Audrey Morin, to Dale's side. John Richert, North woods camp director, where Dale spent the past two summers as a counselor, presented the Eagle kit to Dale. His mother pinned on the Eagle medal and, in turn, he presented her with a pin. George Ames, district training chairman, read the Scout letters which included congratulatory letters from Gov.
