Crystal Lake, Wed nesday, April 27, Secretaries' day, at 7:30 p.m. Attire will be presented by both The Fashion shoppe and The Toddler shop of McHenry. The highlight of the evening will be the award scholarship given by the NSA, Fox Valley chapter, to the girl promising future secretarial interest through MCC. Refreshments will be served along with prizes. Tickets can be obtained from any HSA member or by calling Mary Ann Clark, president of the chapter at 459-5000. Extend Invitation To spring lea The Ringwood United Methodist Women will have a "Spring Tea" April 21 at the Ringwood church at 1p.m. Mrs. Robert Pierce of the Chicago Temple will do a monologue for the guests en titled "Miriam". This par ticular performance is one of Mrs. Pierce's favorites. The program will begin promptly at 1 p.m. followed by tea, coffee and cookies in the church hall. Members in clude Calvin, his wife, Judy and their two children, George and Joel. Robert Hanke is residing at 904 Channel drive while Donald and Maxine Berg are beginning to feel at home at 905 Osage. All are formerly of Chicago. A home in Whispering Oaks has been chosen by Raymond Jorgensen, former Chicago resident, at 4403 Sussex. The village of Holiday Hills has a new family, the Jen- nrich's at 15^1 Sunset. They number four and include Herbert and Lenore with their daughter. Holly, and son. Mark. The Hilligan children, Erin. Mora. Pat and Valerie have probably had some adjusting to do with McHenrys northern temperatures as they, alohg with their parents, Tom and Valerie are from sunny Hollywood, Calif. They are residing at 2807 Baycliff A home at 1719 Rogers, Lakeland Park, met the requirements/pf Leonard and Maria Sieracoii. They have a daughter. Dawn, 2 years old and are formerly from Chicago. ; Jody and Jennifer Frank, who share the same month of September for their birthdays, along with their parents, James - and Diane, are living at 2205 N. Channel. Prior to the move here, they resided in Gurnee. A move of not-too-many- miles was made by Frank and Marion Good from Ingleside to 4506 Elmleaf, McHenry. Their children, Frank and Summer, share November birthdays. Another Chicago resident, Clifford Grabowski, has chosen McHenry to live in and he makes his home at 1417 Palomino. APRIL20. 1977 Newcomers Club Elects New Of f icers New officers for the Town and Country Newcomers club were elected at the April meeting held on the twelfth They are Sandy Howell, president; Pat Przetacznik, vice president; Karen Purcell, secretary-treasurer; and Chris Sonnichsen, prospective membership chairman. Visiting the club were two new residents of the McHenry area, Kathy Cichonski and Marlene Strohman. After the regular business meeting. Detective Whitman spoke on drug abuse. On April 30 at 7'30 p.m.. there will be a couples' bowling party. The next Tea, Talk and Sew will be held Tuesday, May-' 3, at 9:30 a.m. in the home of Marsha Hallberg. The gathering is a chance for getting better acquainted with the new ladies in McHenry. A luncheon at the Hobson house and an afternoon of shopping in Long Grove is being planned for June 14.
