The weather was perfect, and it was a most enjoyable day for everyone. The first president of the club. Bert Welker. was in at­ tendance, and he spoke briefly to the group, expressing his pleasure at the continued growth of the club, and the many activities provided for the members He also reminded everyone that the club is approaching its tenth birthday early next year. She wore a picture hat of chiffon finished with tulle veiling. A colonial bouquet of white elegance carnations, white roses, blue cornflowers, stephanotes and baby's breath was carried. The bride graduated from Marian Central Catholic high school in 1974 and also attended Patricia Stevens Career college for a nine month course in public relations. The groom is a graduate of Base high school and attended Indiana university for a year prior to enlistment in the U.S. Navy. He is employed in Evansville where the couple will make their home. A rehearsal party was held in the home of Edward Pieroni and hosted by the groom's parents. A house and garden reception was held after the ceremony at the estate of the groom's parents for 125 guests.
