PAGE 8 • PLAINDEALER - TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 22. 1177 Lakemoor* Lilymoor . Margaret Karas 385-4934 After Quarter Of Century-A Brand N«w Horn• . " 4 . The first new home built in Lilymoor in about 25 years was moved into Halloween day. Walter and Pat Depner and their baby son, Dustin, are a welcome addition to our community. Wally, with help from his family, did the actual building, even though he is not a carpenter by trade. Anyone who has been through building or remodeling can certainly appreciate the hard work and frustrations that they ex perienced, and the pride and pleasure that resulted in the finished project. May you have much happiness in your new home, Pat and Wally. LLCCI Chuck Nettles, with com mittee members Ron Coffman and Norman Morrison, drafted the by-laws for the Lily Lake Conservation club, Inc., Tuesday night, they will be presented for discussion and verification at the meeting Thursday, Nov. 17. Other business to be discussed will be reports from Robert Sasman, hydrologist; Mark Stumpf, engineer, and Senator Jack Schaffer. Sherry and Ron Coffman and Bruno Karas represented the LLCCI at a reception for Senator Schaffer, a school friend of Ron's, last Sunday. Bruno also spoke with Rep. McClory, who was not familiar with Lily Lake's problem, but is a concerned conservationist. Progress is being made in gathering necessary in formation. GET WELL WISHES Carl Stromley stepped on a nail and finally had to go to the doctor. He's walking better now, but an occasional pain reminds him it's wise to watch his step. Little Killeen Ryan also had to visit the doctor. LIBRARY STORY Have you noticed a lot of the kids wearing "propeller rings44? These were given out by the McHenry Nunda library this past week in recognition of Children's Book Week. Blowing out candles, cupcakes and pop were enjoyed at the unbirthday party Saturday, when everyone's birthday was celebrated. Special books were given as prizes, along with book bags and pens. Libraries are fun and really something else! BIRTHDAYS Good health and happiness are wishes extended to Sandra Betancourt, Julie CasseH, Larry Anderson and Kelly Nejedly, all Nov. 25 (if they all got together that would be some party!); Nov. 27, Betty Sinkler and Marge Baker, who raises the best tasting ducks per duck eating expert, Maggie Dun- nagan; Gary Leske Nov. 28; Alma and Bud Hueckstaedt's granddaughter Tracy Nov. 29; and Donovan Brizzi who will be 11 Nov. 30.
