We welcome all who wish to worship with us at that time: Ringwood, 9:15 a.m. and Greenwood, 11 a.m. On Sunday afternoon, Nov. 27, there will be an Advent workshop held in the Green­ wood church starting at 3:30 p.m. At 6 p.m. there will be a light supper with a short worship service following. - There will be projects for everyone, young and old, creative and otherwise. Basic materials will be provided but any do-dads you may have on hand (ribbons, fabric scraps, beads, etc.) will add to the glamor of the many projects. So bring the family, your favorite Christmas dessert and join us for a fun time of creativity and fellowship! THANKSGIVING EVE SERVICE A combined parish service will be held in the Ringwood church Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock. The combined choir of both churches will furnish special music. Please join us for worship on this Thanksgiving eve. The pledge of allegiance to the flag was led by Amy Adams and the 4-H pledge was led by Kerri Beutel. Roll call was taken and there were thirty-six people present and ten absent. Steve Smith talked about the project display that was in the display case at the McHenry Public library about two weeks ago. Dan Miller told about the price raise in the dues to cover some insurance costs. The club dress revue followed. Then Kathy Heberer presented the club's out­ standing member awards. She also presented the club with an award for recognizing the 4-H* people-to-people activities • offered by the county. Judy Vyduna presented a gift to Mr. Staveteig for all of the years of service to our club as the key leader. Mr. Staveteig presented the junior leaders with certificates of recognition and then presented the rest of the awards. We then initiated all of our new members. They had to eat a piece of chocolate pie with * their hands behind their backs, and their eyes blindfolded.
