"Anybody Out There?" Deaths PAGE 15 - PLA1NDEALER - WFHNESDAY. JANUARY 18. 10TO * •r There's a lot of action In "Anyone Out There?", the East campus drama production. In this scene, Millie passes out in HerMe's arms as Oliver looks on. But what's that bottle in Millie's hand? and who's that hiding in the closet? Left to right are Jennie Fossum, Brad Smith, and Brady Anderson. Performances will be Jan. 19 and 20 at 8 p.m. at West campus. STAFF PHOTO-WAYNE GAYLORD The East campus Drama club is hoping to provide a lot of laughter this Thursday and Friday evenings, Jan. 19-20, when they present "Anybody Out There?" in the West campus auditorium. The cast of "Anybody Out There?" includes Brady Health Tip Nosebleed How do you stop a nosgbleed? Almost everyone has his own pet remedy. Remember when someone told you to insert a small wad of paper under the upper lip? After awhile the bleeding stopped. Of course, the paper probably didn't really help and the bleeding would have stopped anyway. Some individuals, par ticularly children, have frequent nosebleeds even though they have no serious disease. Small blood vessels under the delicate nasal lining may rupture easily, especially during violent exertion. Nosebleeds are common following a blow on the nose. Exposure to high altitudes can cause nose bleeds. High blood pressure sometimes is to blame. Loss of blood usually is much less than the victim thinks, and unless bleeding persists, this loss usually isn't serious. The American Medical association offers several approaches that might help to curb nosebleed -- Have the victim sit upright, unless he is faint. Apply large, cold, wet towels over the face, nose and back of the head and neck. Pinch the nostrils together. The bleeding point often is near the tip of the nose. Keep the victim quiet. Avoid coughing, blowing the nose or walking about during or soon after a nosebleed. Careful Driver A careful driver is one who just saw the driver ahead of him get a traffic ticket Anderson as Oliver Wendell Pankey, a bank teller. Jenny Fossum will play Millie, Oliver's on-again, off-again fiancee, and Brad Smith will be Herbie Henderson, Oliver's boss at the bank. Also in the cast are Lori Robertson as a pushy landlady, Terri Mai as an F.B.I, agent, Tom Alvary as a thief. Dee Sturm as a doctor, and Lauri Waudell as the doctor's receptionist. Other roles in the play will be filled by Joe Kost, Karen Beres, Steve Parisi, Rick Shiman, and Barb Pintozzi. Dawn Beshk, student director, has been assisting directors Dan Stanowski and Roger Zawacki during rehearsals. "Anybody Out There?" is a comedy with a little suspense woven in between the laughs. Tickets for both performances will be available at the door. Performances will begin at 8 p.m. Jan. 19 and 20, and the doors will open at 7:30 p.m. 1 PUBLIC NOTICE Notict of Proposed Change in Gas Schedule NORTHERN ILLINOIS GAS COMPANY hereby gives notice to the public that it has filed with the Illinois Commerce Commission on January 6. 1978. a proposed general increase in rates for gas service Further information „ with respect thereto may be obtained either directly from this Company or by addressing the Secretary of the Illinois Commerce Commission at Springfield, Illinois. 62706.
