Hospital Auxiliary Spacious Country Living BIRTHS WILLIAM GODDIN HOME The lovely home of William and Anita God din at 2501 N. Riverside drive, because of it's unique quality, has been selected to be among those shown during McHenry hospital Auxiliary's spring House Walk May 7. It is located on 7 acres of land and is 22 years old, although the Goddins have been its owners for only 8 years. Each room is distinctive, such as the beautiful Victorian living room, the dining room with its Italian crystal chandelier as the focal point of interest, and the two bathrooms with bay windows. Her kitchen is every woman's dream with its plants in a huge bay window and a fireplace. As one enters this home, a sun room fulled with white wicker furniture and many plants leads into a comfortable family room with its own distinct qualities and which provides room for some of the collection of clocks which the Goddins have been gathering over the past years. The grounds of this home add to its beauty .'There is a spring-fed pond at the end of the property that until this past summer served as the family's swimming pool but is now occupied by gracious peacocks., Golden Retrievers will serve as escorts to visitors during the hours of 12 noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 7. Tickets for the House Walk are now available at the McHenry hospital Gift shop and may be purchased May 7 at the homes included in the tour.
