About 700 dinners were served. Due to some problems in the cooking of the chicken, we sincerely regret that some of you had to wait much longer than anticipated and will do everything possible to see this is corrected another year. We appreciated everyone's patience and all the nice comments on the good dinner HOSPIALIZED We were greatly surprised to learn that Diane (DeeDee) Valentine is confined in Madison General hospital with a broken back She sustained the injury July 2 and will be hospitalized for eight weeks. The hospital address is 202 Park street, Madison, Wis., and we are sure she would ap preciate a card or note wishing her a speedy and complete recovery Arthur Dust, also dropped by for a little while. HERE AND THERE Gary and Diane T ;nstad with infant son, David, were here this weekend to enjoy the chicken barbecue and visit with friends they had not seen for some time. Gary's parents, Howard and HelenAnn Linstad, were also here from Appleton to enjoy the weekend activities. MISFORTUNE Last Saturday afternoon little Gina Visconti had the misfortune of being struck by a car while riding her bike. Gina was very fortunate with only four stitches and a few scrat ches She is home and doing OK and a little wiser as we all should be. Drive carefully through Ringwood or any other residential area. BIRTHDAY-FAREWELL GATHERING Last Wednesday, July 12, was the day that little Frankie Visconti turned to the ripe old age of 3 years so his mom Lil had a little get-together for the occasion. Friends and relatives helped Frankie celebrate with cake and ice cream, gifts and visiting. Later in (he evening they all went to Joe and Rosa Visconti's home to help Pierc celebrate his birthday. Piero is Joe and Rdsa's son-in-law The evening also included a farewell party for the senior Viscontis and Great Grandma Piazza who left last Thursday to return and live in Sicily. The youngest of five Visconti sons, Dominic, will be making his home with Lil and Frank Visconti.
