Dick has been an able foreman in the shop for a number of years and had the know how to build or repair whatever needed attention. Marlene took over the front desk in the news room when Marie Yegge decided to retire. She read proof, edited society news or whatever came her way. We had lots of fun as she opened the mail and put sports news on our desk. Some of it was real junk mail. I will miss Marlene's smile and greeting in our daily trips to the news room.
