Preparations for the opening have been under way for some time and the plant is now ready for operation. _ _ Tae preliminary sork included the securing and installation of a bat-- tery of new machines of the latest mod!s, whic};, wll enable the laundry to turn out the finest kind owork The building and equipment is owned by J Q. Carlson, who will malintain a general supervision of the plant. The working force is in charge of Frank Fink, who was for many years, the foreman of the Ft Sheridan laundry. Soliciting will be handled by Hubert Dowden. Mr. Carlson erected the present building in 1910, at the cornr of New brry Aynu and First Street, and for eleven years, -- operated the Mode Laundry.
