They also have a bourding school for young boys and girls. The average uumber of pupils in the boarding school are about 4#¥900. They are taught to read and write, sew and everything they do not know. Rev. and Mrs. Meti:ger sang and talked in African langu-- age.. He told us that a man is only a boy until he grows a beard. Mr. Metzger was always known as the bo# until he let a beard grow, then one of the ladies over there prayed to God and thanked Him that now their boy was a man.
