League Hosts Health Professional Seminar The McHenry county area LaLe^he league will host a seminar for health care professionals Oct. 25, at 8 p.m. at Lundahl junior high school in Crystal Lake The theme for the evening will be "Helping the Nursing Couple". The featured speaker for the evening will be Dr. Gregory White One of the founding fathers of LaLeche league, Dr White is a family practitioner, a member of the professional advisory board of LaLeche league and the father of eleven children Dr White will share his extensive experience in helping breastfeeding mothers and babies Some of the topics which will be covered include the allergic baby; jaundice in the newborn; when mother or baby is ill; and dealing with special circumstances such as twins, cesarean section and the premature baby This meeting is open to all MR. Crystal Lake. The fair offers colorful, unique, high quality works of art in fibre, jewelry, painting, ceramics. photography, scratchboard and graphics. Sayonara Serenade" Theme Of Dinner Dance At Marian Marian Central Catholic high school will sponsor its annual fund-raising dinner dance once again on Saturday evening, Nov. 11. "Sayonara Serenade" has been selected as this year 's theme and the decoration committee is headed by Louise Casey of Crystal Lake. A popular dance orchestra has again been engaged to provide the entertainment and music for dancing. The evening will begin with the cocktail and hors d'oeuvre hour at seven o'clock with dinner served at eight and nine o'clock Dancing to the orchestra will continue from 9:30-1:30 a.m. Chef James Norton of the Marian staff will prepare a delicious prime rib of beef dinner and the meal will be served by members of the Marian student council Reservations are now being accepted at the school (338- 4220).
