Senior Council Stocks •--< "Sunshine Supplies" The Senior Citizen Meet and Eat program has initiated an emergency meal box for seniors who may be homebound by severe weather. These meals are being boxed by senior volunteers and students from McHenry County college, and will be ready for distribution after Dec. 1 Each box will contain sup plies for three meals a day for three days. Three choices of juice and cereal, meat, vegetables, fruit, condiments and beverages are included These foods were selected to contain recommended daily allowance for three days for a person 60 years of age or older Suggeted donation is less than price of same items if pur chased at a local grocery store. Seniors may purchase the emergency meal box at Meet and Eat Center. An abundant supply is available for seniors who may want to purchase them as a gift to other seniors during the holiday season. They are also available for organizations which make a special effort to do extra things for needy seniors in McHenry county.
