Following the supper, the Tenebrae service with Holy Communion will begin at 7:30. If you cannot make the supper, we hope you will join us for the service following. Easter Sunrise service will again be presented by the youth of our parish at 6:30 a.m. at the Greenwood United Methodist church. "The Funeral of Jesus- Easter" is the title of the message. Breakfast will be served at Greenwood following the Sunrise service. The Easter services will be at the regular time in both churches -9:15 a.m. at Ringwood and 11 a.m. at Greenwood. The message will be "The Morning that Ends Mourning". This Sunday, Palm Sunday, the children will be singing at both churches. "The Flight From "Death" will be the message for this service. EASTER VACATION Easter vacation for John- sburg school district 12 (Ringwood area included) will be from Good Friday, April 13 through Tuesday, April 17, with school resuming on Wed­ nesday, April 18. If no further emergency days are used this year, the last day of school for all Johnsburg •schools will be Friday, June 8. PRE-SCHOOL REGISTRATION Johnsburg community unit district 12 (Ringwood area included) will hold its com­ prehensive registration for all children born prior to December 1, 1976. The registration will take place at the Johnsburg Middle school on Wednesday, April 18 and Thursday, April 19. Registration will be done alphabetically by last name as follows: Wednesday, April 18 - A thru E from 9 to 11 a.m.; F thru J from 1 to 3 p.m.; Thursday, April 18 - K thru R from 9 to 11 a.m.; and S thru Z from 1 to 3 p.m. This registration applies to all pre-school children ages 3 through 5, even if the child has been registered in previous years. • Hundred percent registration is the goal set in order to coordinate the kin­ dergarten placement for this coming September. TRAVELERS Ila Hogan, with daughter, Pat Parsley and grandchildren, Laura, Nancy, Tom, Jr., Jimmy, and Jeannie Parsley, all traveled to Mountain, Wise., last weekend for a visit with John, Jr., and Jerry Hogan families. It was also a time for celebrating several birthdays, so on Saturday evening they gathered at Jerry's for dinner and cake. Changes include new Saturday service toW^ndef Like on RTA's route 809L Less than a year tmpassed since the inauguration of your McHenry Buses, and now service has been expanded. Route 809 now transports Crystal Lake and Wood­ stock residents to Wonder Lake every Saturday. Wonder Lake residents should also find this new service conve­ nient for getting to points in McHenry and Crystal Lake. The map below shows the new service available on the 809. As you can see, you can still use the 809 on Saturday to travel from McHenry to Crystal Lake and Woodstock. Other new changes include revisions on RTA's route 807, the Woodstock/McHenry bus and route 808, the Crystal Lake/Harvard bus. Driving north on Friday, they had rain all the way, and coming home Sunday they hit the snowstrom at Fond Du Lac. Ila said it was the worst snowstorm she had ever driven through. Patty Christopher spent last weekend with her sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Gary Linstad, at Blsfck Creek, Wise. It was a great weekend of catching up on news and playing with nephew, David. Also enjoying a weekend with family were Bill, Shirly and Sherri Cristy who traveled to Indianola, Iowa, for a visit with Larry and Diane Cristy. They also had a short visit with former Ringwood residents. Ted and Ann Wickman, who live at Atlantic, Iowa Other travelers to Iowa were Art, Mary and Laura Baker who visited grandmothers and other relatives at Strawberry Point. The Bakers were for­ tunate to start home just ahead of the big snowstorm that fell on .Iowa last Sunday We are thankful all these folks got home safely after spendin^some time with loved ones. BIRTHDAYS Happy birthday to Evelyn Zovnar, Harold Bell, Jr., Art Christopher. Patrick Kane, and to little Ryan Gene Petska on April 7. April 8 is that special day for Laura Parsley, and on April 9 Doris Low becomes another year older. April 10 was a busy day with Wade Bruce. Martha Beaman,' Shirley Cristy, Audrey Walker, Marie Conk and Chris Rich sharing their day. April 11 was almost as busy with Sally Meechum, Cristy Fossum, Judy Rich and Susan Low (Mrs. Robert) all celebrating another year.
