Rankin Addresses Local BPW The McHenry Business and Professional Women's club will hold its monthly meeting April 16 at Andre's Steak House, Richmond, 7 p.m. The speaker for the evening will be Mr. Douglas C. Rankin, executive director of the Woodstock Opera House. Rankin holds his A.B. Degree in Economics and Architecture from the University of California at Berkeley, and his M.B.A. specializing in non­ profit cultural institutions from the University of California at Los Angeles. He came to Woodstock in the fall of 1976 from a similar position in Walnut Creek, Calif., a community near San Francisco. After two years of operation since its restoration, the Woodstock Opera House now features a year-round calendar of activities Including com­ munity and professional theatre, concert series, art e x h i b i t i o n s , p u b l i c a n d organizational meetings and presentations, and general entertainment. Bus for the Milwaukee-Kansas City game will leave from the parking lot of the McHenry Savings and Loan at 10:30a.m. June 16, and a bus for the Cubs-Philadelphia game will leave June 26, from the same location, and at the same time. Reservations should be made promptly, since tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis. Two reservations are still available for the bus-luncheon- theater trip to the Fireside restaurant to see the play "Oklahoma". Please make reservations with Ruth Fradell promptly.
