HOUSEHOLD ITEMS Another family needs a wringer washing machine (cannot use an automatic), one dresser, and a single and a double mattress. Please call Mary at 385-7417 to arrange pick-up. These items would make life a little better for them. CLOTHING Two young ladies can use clothing, in size five through eight (slacks, tops, dresses, slips, stretch socks). These items will be put to good use. FOOD Because of the recent extra demands, our pantry's supply is very low. If you can help us at this time with any of the items necessary to keep a home going, (paper goods; washing needs; canned fruits, vegetables, meats; canned and powdered milk.) we would be most thankful. Call Joan at 385- 4353 for information as to delivery, or leave a package at St. Mary's Saturday or Sunday, May 5 and 6, and we will pick up there. Thank you! There are many groups that meet and bring these items, and this is a big help. If you would prefer to send a check or a certificate from a super market, please mail to Fish, Box 282, McHenry, 111., 60050. Fish also needs volunteers to help with our telephone calls. You are asked to give a day a month answering calls. We also need drivers, to take folks to the clinic, doctor, etc. Drivers sign up for one day a month also, and are advised by our answering service whom to contact on that day. Friends and neighbors often join and go together. Even if you are confined to home, you could take phone calls on your day...give it some thought! God love you and bless you. This is truly His work, and who can tell, but we ourselves may some day need such help! M.G.
