Father Leo Bartel, pastor of St. John the Baptist Catholic church, delivered the in­ vocation. Diane A. Heard and Carol Ann Schmidt, members of the graduating class, spoke on "Friends, What Do They Mean To You?" and "Where Will We Stop, Nobody Knows." The concert band and choir, under the direction of Thomas Steffens, performed two selections, the band, "Sym­ phonic Overture," and the eighth grade choir, "The Way We Were". Honor awards were presented by James VanBosch, principal of the Junior high school. Dr. Andreas, superintendent of schools, presented the graduating class to Charlee-ffoak, president of the board of education, Mrs. Hart and Mrs. Stanell, school board members, who issued the diplomas. Father Bartel gave the benediction and the concert band performed the recessional. A reception for the class of 1979 was held in the junior high school multipurpose room following the ceremonies. Zuley Two Services Sunday At Presbyterian Church Faith Presbyterian church, located at the corner of Lincoln and Chapel Hill roads, is beginning two services of worship this Sunday, June 10. The first service will be at 8:30 a.m. and will feature use of the guitar and sermon-discussions. A more traditional service will be at the usual time of 10:30 a.m. The additional service has been made necessary by in­ creased attendance. It is hoped that this new schedule will meet the summer worship needs of worshippers. Pre­ school classes and nursery will be offered at 10:30. A class in beginning guitar will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 19, 21, 26, 28, 10:30 a.m. to noon. Students will learn the tuning, care and maintenance of guitars, as well as six basic chords and two basic right hand patterns. Each class will meet in room 263 at MCC.
