In an evenly, played game the Sox took the measure of the Twins 4-1. Tim Mauer had the only hits, a homer and a double for the Sox. The Sox also edged the Indians 7-6 in another mini- game with Kevin McGee gaining the victory. In a tight game the Dodger squeaked by the Braves 1-0 as Brian Dow's 2 hit pitching and single scoring hit combined to lead the Dodgers.
