The future bridegroom graduated from McHenry Community high school in 1976 and is currently enrolled in his senior year at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. Food and other items may be delivered to St. Patrick's Catholic church, 3500 W. Washington, McHenry, Saturday, March 29, and Sunday, March 30, after all the Masses. The dates are Thursday, April 10from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday, April 11 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, April 12 from 8 a.m. to noon. Hostess for the March Marcia Mary Ball Circle meeting :was Margaret Andersen, assisted by Esther Sims. They served delicious refreshments, loaded with calories, but oh so good! The Spring Tea and Book Review was discussed. The date of this event is Wedn- seday, April 23,1 p.m. at the church. Martha Hopkins, a well known personage, will give the review. Tickets are available from all U.M.W. members, or at the door the day of the program. The proceeds from this project to go to the Church Building fund. Since the addition of the new Sanctuary there have been some changes regar­ ding parking. Signs will be posted in the near future and members are requested not to block the "drop off" area. Plans are also underway for the "all church" potluck dinner Thursday, May 15 at 5:30 p.m. in honor of Rev* Marcia Mary Ball, the missionary from Rhodesia. Several churches in the area will be invited to participate. A date has been requested for another "Shop and Share" prgoram, for May. Proceeds from this project will go to the Church Building fund. Margaret Andersen and Esther Sims volunteered to serve coffee on Sunday Mornings in April for the Coffee Hour. The next Circle meeting will be Tuesday, April 1, at noon, in the church parlor. Members are requested to bring their own sandwiches; dessert will be served by hostess, Anne Demke. Any lady of the church interested is most cordially invited to come to Marcia Mary Ball Circle and enjoy the warm and friendly fellowship. Following the Circle meeting, there will probably be a report from the Craft club members who are busy working on items for the bazaar. The Craft club has many items already made, suitable for small gifts or shower presents, at very reasonable prices. Contact the chairlady for information on what is available at this time.
