AUGUST 20,1M0 "Great", "The best" and "This is real luxury" were some of the reactions of Bill Miller upon his return from a two-week Caribbean cruise as a graduation gift. Accompanied by his aunts, Maureen and Kathleen Henn, Bill flew from O'Hare to Miami, where the three boarded ship for what proved to be two memorable weeks. Ports of call were Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, An tigua, Curacao, Venezuela, Aruba, Jamaica and Haiti. Each island had its own particular appeal as they experienced, American, British, Netherlands, Spanish, French and mixed influences. Life aboard ship was devoted to several themes, complete with costumed waiters, parades and other attractions that proved exciting to the tourists. Bill joined many activities on board, enjoying the cruise to the fullest. Among the highlights in which he participated were pirate's night, masquerade party, Gay 90's, teen ac tivities, and three big galas of the captain, all formal. These were the captain's cocktail party, gala dinner, and the farewell dinner party. Assessing the trip, all agreed the cruise was an excellent choice made by Bill as a grade school graduation gift. \ Bill Miller meets the captain abroad ship that carried the eighth grade graduate and his aunts on a Caribbean cruise. For two weeks, the three local residents enjoyed the offerings of Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands. Antigua. Curacao. Venezuela. Aruba. Jamaica and Haiti.
