Directed by Thomas Wik- man, the group presented their premier performance in February to a capacity crowd at the newly- renovated St. John's church in Johnsburg. They are now rehearsing for their second concert, a performance of Burctaer's Mass in F to be presented with full professional orchestral accompaniment in late October. Wikman, one of the midwest's most sought-after vocal teachers, has per formed at the Ravinia Festival, at the White House for President Carter, as well as throughout the Chicagoland area. His vocal students have gone on to premier at the Metropolitan Opera, Lyric Opera, the Cologne Opera, New York Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and other performance en sembles.
