This will insure your registration being correct at your voting place HOMECOMING PARADE The past week was a busy time for the young ladies and Receives Cap gentlemen of Johnsburg high school. They were working on their floats for the Homecoming parade. It was a rewarding ex perience to see students, teachers, and parents working together to com plete these parade entrants! There was much physical work involved, imagination, ingenuity and many hands worked together. It surely represented the school spirit- all part of future school memories! HOME AND HOSPITAL Please keep in your prayers Debbie Kipaust, Timothy Stewart, Robert Wade and Martin Weber, and your other friends and neighbors who have been ill. Due to a recent accident, Bill Comstock, Frank Oeffling and Bernie Schmitt were in Woodstock hospital. Bill Comstock is*still there, but progressing How about sending him a card, or stopping by for a visit. Remember, too, the folks who are recently home from the hospital; it would brighten their day. CONGRATULATIONS ...to "Meals-on-Wheels" and the many generous people it represents, for their tenth anniversary serving our community. Many folks are sincerely appreciative of their help. There are many such other organizations and groups in our area, who help neighbors in various ways, through churches, etc., without recognition. The satisfying feelings of such effort is sufficient reward, but God blesses them abundantly! BAZAAR St. John's church will sponsor a bazaar Saturday, Nov. 8, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 9, after all the Masses, in St. John's school. Some folks have called in with offers of help--how about you? Workers are needed, also items to sell for the various booths, baked goods, etc. For information and offers to work, call Mrs. Gerald J. GAIL VANKANEGAN Mrs. Jeff (Gail) VanKanegan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Kammerer, Jr., 2934 No. Shorewood, McHenry, was among students of the class of 1982 to receive her cap in ceremonies held Sept. 18 at First Congregational church, Quincy. Senior Class president, Connie Schroeder, presented the ceremony address, "The Cap." Presenting the class of 1982 was Janet Tejes, R.D. School of Nursing, and director Rita Zabor, R.N. awarded the caps. The nurses' candlelighting ceremony was led by Can- dice Leeper, R.N., and Beverly McClellan, R.N., both instructors, and was followed by the "Nightingale Pledge" by the students. Musical selections were by Lynn Bartell, piano, Jeff VanKanegan, bass, and Sue VanKanegan, vocal. The Rev. Peter Bagley presented the homily and offered the benediction.
