Glen, a freshman, is a physics major. Two MCHS Graduates Join Honor Society Two graduates of McHenry West high school, now sophomores at the University of Wisconsin- Whitewater, have been in­ stalled in Phi Eta Sigma, national college scholastic honor society for freshmen. Students must attain a s c h o l a s t i c a v e r a g e equivalent to, or better than, 3.5 (4.0 is equal to "straight A") during their first year to be eligible for membership. New Phi Eta Sigma members include Stephanie Karwacki, 5301 N. Lake street, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Karwacki, , a liberal arts major, and Scott Dixon, 3413 N. Kristine Salman With Choir At University Alto Kristine Salman of McHenry has been selected by audition to perform with the Millikin university choir. The 40-member choir presents several concerts on campus each year, annually conducts a January per­ formance tour, participates in special campus music programs such as Christmas Vespers and Choral Union and regularly conducts workshop-concerts for area schools. Miss Salman, a sophomore art management major, is a member of Alpha Chi Omega social sorority.
