Form Advisory Group For Data Processing An advisory committee for the Business Data Processing program at McHenry County college has been organized by Steve Mansfield, data processing instructor. The purpose of the committ­ ee is to assist the college by examining the data processing program-both the curriculum and the computer hardware. The committee will work with the data processing in­ structors and College ad­ ministrators to be sure that the data processing program is meeting the needs of the students. Of particular importance to the committee is the training being offered to the vocationally oriented student. Many of these students will seek em­ ployment within the com­ munity and it is vital that the college be attuned to the needs of area when preparing students for some of these jobs in the data processing field. Currently, the business data processing program is one of the most rapidly growing areas at the college. In the last two years, the enrollments have more than doubled. The members of the committee have spent a considerable amount of time studying the current data processing course offerings and the instructional hard­ ware.
