Come Early & Shop All Day!!! Days Jan. 15-16-17 Vacs and the single man @Even if'he's an urban cow- hoy, today's single man doesn't want his home to look like a place where the buffalo roam. Many single men, however, are discovering the demands of a career and active social life leave little time for maintaining law .and order in the living room. For the increasing number of adult males who choose to live alone, housecleaning has be come a black-hatted sin^gtfr ickly efficiently. To help smgles with these cleaning tasks so they'll have more time for more pleasurable pursuits, the cleaning expert* at The Eureka Company offer the following list of hou:>ckecping hints: • Ddn't let things pile up. Wash the dishes, including pots and pans, after each neal. Take a few minutes each day to straighten the living room. Throw out old newspapers, put away books and games, and empty ashtrays • Allow time to give your liv ing and dining rooms a good going-over at least once a week. Thoroughly vacuum rugs and carpets, and dry mop or vacuum bare floors. Use your vacuum cleaner's dusting brush on tables, mir rors, pictures and bric-a-brac, and use the upholstery tool on pillows,.draperies and slipcov ers. • Change the towels in the bathroom when they get dirty, and don't put soiled towels in the hamper while they're wet. Clean the bathroom floor, sink and toilet once a week. • Set aside one day every four to six weeks for one of the hig chores such as washing win dows or cleaning the oven. This schedule can be flexible, but be sure to do these tough tasks within a specified time. • Don't do things by hand when a machine can do them much easier and faster. For example, your vacuum cleaner attachments can clean kitchen cabinets and drawers in a matter of seconds. • Keep all your cleaning items in a neat, orderly place. This way you won't waste lime searching around for that tiny container of polishing wax. When cleaning, centralize all your paraphernalia in one con tainer and carry it with you as you go from room to room. • Always check your bag be fore vacuuming. If the bag fills up beyond the "fill" line, it loses suction and doesn't pick up the dirt effectively. • Avoid distractions, such as watching a hockey game on television, while cleaning. Keep your mind .on .yoyr ywpik and you 'll get done faster. JANUARY 15-16-17 SAVE FROM '20 TO MO ON A WASHER & DRYER PAIR DURING DOLLAR DAYS WHILE ALL MERCHANDISE IS REDUCED.
