These were judged according to dens, with ribbons given for the first, second and third place. The judge for the com­ petition was Hank Miller of Windy Prairie Acres. The boys gave Miller an ap­ preciation certificate for his help. The Scout- A-Rama, will be held Saturday, May 2, at McHenry Fairgrounds from 1 to 8 p.m., and is open to the public HIGH SCHOOL NEWS Monday, Apr. 20, the Student Council had an Exchange day with the Palatine high school, who 675-6291 visited and attended classes with members of the Student Council. Tuesday, Apr. 21, students from Social Studies held a 3- D movie entitled "Creature from the Black Lagoon". It was shown in the evening to enable parents and in­ terested persons to attend. Wednesday, Apr. 22, a national testing company was in the school conducting tests. This will enable the school to help set standard norms for the area. The J E EP (Johnsburg Environmental Education program.) will be offering candles to raise money for the purchase of a canoe. May 5, 7:30 p.m., for a meeting at Junior high in Room 42. They would like parents of students participating in all sports offered at the Junior high to attend. Every year the Booster club sponsors the concession stand at all home games for basketball to raise money for athletics. They are now doing the same for home wrestling meets as well. Your support through the years has made their suc­ cess possible, so plan on attending this important meeting to help keep sports alive in Johnsburg 4-H NEWS The McHenry Woodchucks performed their skit, "Nursery Rhyme Diet" at the 1981 Share-the-Fun festival recently. They came away with 1st runner-up to represent McHenry county at the State Fair in Springfield this summer. If for any reason the winners of the Huntley Harvestors would be unable to perform, they would take their place.
