The groom is a graduate of Marian Central high school and is currently working in Barrington. The couple are residing in Johnsburg. All the bridal party was in attendance with the exception of the flower girl. A highlight of the festivity was a shivaree staged by the celebrants' 'nieces and nephews. Mrs Donald (Grace) Bentz of McHenry; and a son, Paul Hiller. deceased They also have 20 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren Woman's Club Supports City Beautification At the April meeting of the Whispering Oaks Woman's club, the president, Mrs. Wilbur Wildes presented a check to First Ward Alderman Elizabeth Nolan to be used for the "Beautification of McHenry" program. Mrs. Nolan spoke to the group about the plans this committee has for beautifying McHenry and as they progress with the project everyone can look for this city to be one of the most attractive in the area. Annual reports were given by the respective chairmen outlining the ac­ complishments during the past club year. The organization has par­ ticipated in numerous philanthropies consisting of scholarships, raising money for the rescue squad, and others They have also been active in many different areas including education, fine arts and health. Some of the most at­ tractive swimsuits being shown are one-pieee solid color swimsuits in nylon- spandex with princess lines. Springer of McHenry announce the engagement of their daughter Jodi to David J. Lundborg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel J. Lundborg. The future bride and groom both graduated from McHenry high school in 1979. The couple will be married at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran church, McHenry, July 4. The bride's mother chose a sleeveless gown of seamist green jersey with matching jacket. Approximately 200 friends and relatives toasted the newly weds at a reception held at Oak Lawn Holiday Inn. The couple will reside in the Chicago area following a honeymoon trip to Clear­ water, Fla. and Disney World in Orlando. The bride is a 1974 graduate of Bogan high school, Chicago; 1979 graduate of IIT-Rush university program in Medical Technology, and an alumnae of Kappa Phi Delta sorority at IIT.
