BIKE SAFETY McHenry's police chief, George Pasenelli, called to let us know about the bike safety program the department is going to have in July and August. On July 14 or 21 and Aug. 11 or 18 your children may go to the community house parking lot to learn the bicycle rules of the road. Each child who participates will receive a rules of the road book and a lesson in bike safety. With so many children on the streets on their bikes there is a need to educate them on the proper usage. - These lessons will begin at 10 a.m.ftn all four dates.
