MONTHLY REMINDER With the increased outdoor activities planned for the summer months, the sun becomes a very important factor. H your plans include a lot of time outdoors, drink plenty of water and use a sun screen. Sun screens are rated by a Sun Protection Factor (SPF), designated^ the numbers 2,4, 6, 8 and 15. A screen with an SPF of 2 would provide protection from burning twice as kmg as though no protection were used. People who bum easily should use a screen rated 8 or 15. Those who burn little and tan fast can use a sun screen rated at 2 or 4. Ihe best treatment for sunburn is still cold water. Cold creams or home remedies may aggravate the burn. The Rescue squad can be reached at: 385-4414 For Emergencies Only, or, 385-0622 ForOtherButinesi.
