Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 14, found many people awaiting an exhibition of how to complete an oil painting in a few hours. I was in the audience, com pletely mesmerized by the talent and genuineness of Bill Alexander. He spoke of each of us leaving something of value after our short stay here, and why not have it be an expression of oneself by an original painting? Watching the magic of a mountain scene coming to life on a white canvas, gave us an exciting happy time. Seeing the almighty paint brush in action, in person, made all of us appreciate the joy of creating beauty. "Joy comes in the simple gifts of love".
