Family outings are par ticularly enjoyable in the cool, breezy fall weather. As you leave to meet family of friends for outdoor ac tivities, please remember to drive with care. When you're behind the wheel, keep your mind on the road. Your thoughts might be on a last-minute picnic, camping or hiking trip, but getting there and back safely is vitally important. If jogging or bicycle riding is part of your individual excerise program, watch for other vehicles and pedestrians in the street and at intersections. Many of us will be traveling to football games this fall. Again, be careful going to and from the games. Extra celebrating can result in carelessness on our high ways. Another sign of fall is school buses and additional traffic in school areas. Observe the "Rules of the Road" and stop for school buses when their red lights are flashing. If you have any questions about the Secretary of State's office, please feel free to use our toll-free telephone number (800-252- Herb Fruhwirth, Ex tension adviser in Housing, will show, by slides and demonstrations, how to replace a wall outlet, a light switch, a plug and lamp switch, how to repair a clogged drain, replace a washer and packing and how to effect flush tank repairs. Handouts will be available to all persons who make a reservation by calling 338-3737 or 338-4747 by Nov. 4. Both men and women are invited to this "how to" home maintenance program.
