At one time he made his home in the McHenry area. Mr. Shober was born in Ivanhoe, 111., but moved here with the family when his parents, Art and Ivah Shober, operated the Claremont hill restaurant and tavern during the MBO's. The deceased was a veteran of the Korean conflict. Survivors are four sisters, Lyda Diedrich of McHenry, Evelyn Bertrand of Waukegan, Jean Ullrich and Mary Bartlett of Mundelein; and one brother, George Shober, of Tuscon. Services were conducted Monday afternoon in a Mundelein chapel, followed by burial in Ivanhoe. ANTON F. (TONY) WEBER Anton Frank (Tony) Weber, 58, of 1218 W. Bay road, McHenry, died March 4 in McHenry hospital. Mr. Weber was owner and operator of Tony Weber's Trucking Co., McHenry, for the past 32 years. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic church, Johnsburg, the Johnsburg Community club and Teamsters Union No. 301, Waukegan. Mr. Weber was born in Fox Lake March 22, 1923, and had resided in this community for the past 25 years. Besides his wife, Lois (Peterson) Weber, he is survived by one son, Anton F Weber, Jr., of McHenry; three daughters, Mrs. Kevin (Lynn) Bauer of Ringwood, Mrs. Peter (Deborah) Braden of McHenry and Mrs. Art (Cheryl) Meyer, Jr., of Lake Villa. He also leaves one brother, Frank, of Ingleside; three sisters, Mrs. Barbara Kufalt of Antioch, Mrs. Theresa Gibbs of Ohio and Mrs. Sophie Hucker of McHenry; and two grandsons. A brother, Edward Weber, preceded him in death. Visitation was held at the Hamsher chapel. Fox Lake, prior to a funeral Mass which was offered Monday morning in St. John's church. Interment was in Ridgewood cemetery, DesPlaines. DOROTHY BENES Mrs. Dorothy R. Benes, formerly of Wonder Lake, died Monday, March 8, in Phoenix, Anz. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at the Peter M. Jus ten & Son chapel. SVEND JUHL Svend A. Juhl, 87, 3213 W. Oakdale, McHenry, died Sunday, March 7, at his residence. He was born July 30, 1894, in Copenhagen, Denmark, the son of Skou and Agnes (Jorgensen) Juhl. He came to the United States in 1924, moved to Chicago and became a citizen in October, 1943. Applying bakery skills he had learned in Denmark at the age of 11, Mr. Juhl owned and operated seven bakeries in Chicago; moved to Round Lake in 1965; and Dutch Creek Woodland subdivision in 1075. Survivors are two children, Mrs. Minna Vesely of McHenry andNiels Juhl of Round Lake: seven three neat- ana a Olsson, le was preceded in death by his wife, June 15, 1980: a son-in-law Ralph Vesely, Feb. 23.1978; a daughter-in- law Lila, Feb. 25, i960: a brother Emil Juhl and a sister, Kristine Jensen. Visitation will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, at the George R. Justen & Son funeral home, with the Rev. Roger Schneider of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran church officiating; and inurnment at Highland M e m o r i a l P a r k , Libertyville. Memorials would be appreciated to' the Johnsburg Rescue Squad. ROBERT BOUVAT Robert V. Bouvat, 904 N. Hampton court, McHenry, died Saturday, March 6, at McHenry hospital. He was 67 years old, born in Crandon, Wis. Sept. 22, 1914, the son of John E. and Anastasia (Kopanski) Bouvat. Mr. Bouvat lived in McHenry since 1973, having come from Grayslake. He had been a chef in the McHenry and Grayslake areas. Survivors include his wife Virginia (Kostroski) whom he married Nov. 4, 1946, in Wausau, Wis.; a son James of Gurnee, 111.: a daughter Mrs. Allan (Bernadette) Witham of Sterling, Va. ; five grandchildren; a sister Mrs. Ray (AudrOy) Garrett of Palm Harbor, Fla. and two brothers, John R. Bouvat of Wausau and Norman Bouvat of Florida. A Funeral Mass was conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, in In the church of St. Mary of the Assumption, McHenry, with burial in Wausau.
