McHENRY CAROL BLOCK Carol started in the electrolysis business in 1942 under the ap­ prenticeship of her mother, Ruth Young Block, who originated her business in 1937 and retired in 1973. Together they pioneered changes in electrolysis equipment beginning with the short-wave and currently employing a method which combines short-wave and D'plume. In 1953 Carol began her own business with one of­ fice in downtown Chicago and one in Highland Park. Between 1972 and 1974 this was expanded to include 9 offices and sub­ sequently grew to 15 offices. Carol Block enjoys a fine reputation among medical professionals. She originally joined the bank as a secretary and was promoted to Assistant Cashier in 1976. Prior to 1971, she was employed by the Rosette State Bank. Helen resides in McHenry. FRIEDA B. DUMALSKI Frieda has been a mainstay at Chain-O-Lakes Travel for eighteen years. During this time she has completed many instructional programs with the major airlines, handles many office procedures and is instrumental in the day-to-day gathering of flight destinations, rates, etc. Frieda's dedication has earned her title of assistant manager and travel consultant. During the past thirteen years, she has served the bank in various capacities including; Head Bookkeeper (1969), Assistant Cashier and Auditor 11976), and promoted to Cashier in 1979. Neida is active in local organizations currently serving as treasurer and director of Financial Counseling, Inc. Neida and her son, Edward, live in Pistakee Highlands. JUNEADAMS June Adams joined the Bank in August of 1974, being assigned at that time, to the Bookkeeping Department. Currently, June works in the Banks' Loan Department as Loan Administrator working in such areas as Commercial, Real Estate and Student Loans.
