The luncheon will include a com­ plete chicken with almond sauce dinner at 12 noon. There will be a guest speaker from FISH, door prizes and raffle prizes. Men and women are welcome. Donations for the FISH Pantry will also be accepted at the door, beginning at 11:30 a.m. Tickets are available at all of McHenry banks, Sullivan food store and General Finance. For more in­ formation call 385-3192. FISH benefits those in need and at this time their are two families badly in need of furniture. If you have any extra beds or dressers, etc. call 385- 0258. ROAST BEEF DINNER AND BAZAAR Members of the Ringwood church are very busy these days with last minute preparations for the roast beef dinner and bazaar to be held Satur­ day, Nov. 6. Projects for the bazaar are being completed and candy- making is underway. Tickets are available for the dinner with serving times at 5, 6 and 7 p.m. with the bazaar opening at 3 p.m. U.N.I.C.E.F. SATURDAY Children in the Ringwood and Greenwood communities will be collecting for U.N.I.C E.F. this Saturday, Oct. 30. They wiU meet their respective churches at-4-pfm. and then the Ringwood children will return to their church where they will be transported in a group to the Greenwood church for a light supper. VISITORS Art and Katy Christopher have been enjoying a visit from their daughter,/ Diane Linstad, and her childrer David and Sarah. Son-in-law Gary i£ on a business trip to Alabama and tht folks thought this a good time to visit grandpa and grandma. ATTEND GRANDDAUGHTER'S WEDDING Mrs. Curly Skidmore attended the wedding of her granddaughter, Donna. Jean Skidmore, daughter of Diane and Ed Skidmore of Mountain, Wis., to James Dudek of Green Bay, Wis. on Saturday, Oct. 23, at St. Michael's Catholic church in Suring, Wis. Those attending from here were Grandma Skidmore, Nancy and Steve Bowman of Ringwood. Her aunt and uncle, Jackie and Ron Creutz, and cousins Tom, Chris and Billy Creutz of McHenry and Karri Bush of Pistakee Bay. Other guests were Lyle Ehlert of Wilmot, Elsie Pacey of Twin Lakes, Wis. and Bill and Diane Crockert of Powers Lake, Wis. Everyone said they had a wonderful time. The weather was beautiful, but cool. All stayed over night at Maiden Lake and went back to Ed and Diane's home on Sunday morning to watch Donna and Jim unwrap their wedding gifts. They received many beautiful gifts. After lunch all left for home via Horicon marsh area to see the geese. It was really exciting to see all the zeese in the air and the water. They all had a long wonderful weekend, coming home rather tired but happy. BIRTHDAYS "Happy Birthday" to Alice Walker, Karen Bazilewich, Gion Piero Capizzi and to Linda Ferrara on Nov. 1. Nov. 2 is that special day for Cori Lynn Crocfer, Vic Hopp III, and Murrell Benoy, with George Lehman celebrating on Nov. 3. Nov. 4 finds Christine Decker adding another candle as does Wanda Bistolfo, James Funk and Sharon McGowan on Nov. 5 GUy Winters will celebrate his special day on Nov. 6 as Roger Tonyan and Michelle Lehman will do on Nov. 7.
