The seminar is slated to begin at 6 p.m. ,at the Cattleman's restaurant, Route 62, -Algonquin. Ms. Messling, who has a Bachelor's degree in French and a Master's degree in Counseling and Psychology from the University of Illinois, con ducts workshops and seminars on self love, assertiveness and women in transition and Works in the re-entry program at McHenry County college. New Mom's Discussion. Group • A meeting is slated Tuesday, Jan. 18, at 10 a.m., for the New Mom's Discussion Group, which strives to help new moms deal with all their new responsibilities. The group is open to ail new mothers, offering them and their babies a time and place to come together to share the positive and negative experiences of parenting and to discuss the feelings that ac company motherhood during the baby's first year. One need not be a first time mother to attend. For more information about the group and the location of the meeting, one may contact the group s leader, Mrs. Carl (Debbie) Wright of Crystal Lake. The New Mom's Discussion group is a program offered by-the Childbirth COMMUNITY CALENDAR and Parenting Association of McHenry County. C. & P.
