This is my favorite Hitchcock movie -- also my favorite Cary Grant movie. The acting, the pacing, the compo­ sition and the plot of the movie are all superb. Vote for most hair-raising scene: Grant's run- in with the crop duster. "Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid" (May 7) -- Steve Martin's bizarre, but interesting send-up of various kinds of genre movies, particularly the detective and the film noire genres. It could be a little less bizarre and a little more funny.
