The May 17 regular meeting of the American Legion will be an important one. All members are asked to attend since it will be nomination of officers. Alice Clark, chariman of Volunteers for McHenry County Historical museum, asked for volunteers to guide groups of children visiting the museum in May. > Nancy Langdon, chairman of volunteers for Memorial hospital of Woodstock, asked for volunteers for three new services. They are surgical in two. shifts, telephone reassurance for those living alone and reception desk volunteers. Charles Glover, Region II director of Illinois Retired Teachers association, brought members up to date on important issues.
