It usually is written in the amount of the real estate purchase price. Coverage continues as long as a property owner, his heirs or persons to whom he may bequeath it,* retain an interest in the property. Q-- howmuch does title insurance cost? A--Rates for lenders' and owners' insurance vary. Before buying the insurance, the McHenry County Board of Realtors suggests you shop and compare rates and coverage offered by various title insurance firms in your area. GRANT RATE INCREASE On May 4, the Blinds Commerce Commission (ICC) granted approximately $21.7 million of General Telephone of Illinois' $31.5 million local service request The original filing was made in June, 1982. Larry Henry, General Telephone's state vice president - general manager, pointed out that this was only the company's third general rate request in 25 years. General Telephone last received a local rate increase from the ICC in 1976. At that time, the company was given authority to raise rates $4.6 million annually. The United States Postal service will put new third-class bulk rates for commercial mailers into effect May 22. The governors of the Postal service approved the new rates at their May 2 meeting in Washington, D.C. The rates had been recommended to the governors by the Postal Rate com­ mission April 18. The Governors described the rates recommended for regular third-class mailers as fair and equitable, but took no action on the third-class rates reommended by the PFC for organizations qualifying for non-profit mailing permits. DECLARE DIVIDEND The Modine Manufacturing board of directors has declared a regular quarterly dividend of 30 cents per share on the outstanding common stock.
