ENJOY PASSION PLAY There were 47 boarding the bus at Ringwood United Methodist church last Saturday to travel to Zion for the Passion Play. There were 18 scenes in the pageant depciting events in the life of Christ starting with the Sermon on the Mount through to the Ascen sion. It was beautifully done and very inspiring. All who attended greatly appreciated the efforts of Pastor Gordon Smith in arranging this evening. ' „ BUSY THREE 4-H CLUB The meeting was called to order Monday evening at 7:45 with President Ann Marie Kee conducting the meeting. The Pledge to the Flag and the 4-H pledge were recited. The monthly newsletter was read to the members. The driver John W. Lanphier, 5823 N. Nicholet, Chicago, told police that he had stopped the car to let his wife get out at the Jewel store and he would then drive on and get some gas. Unknowingly, his daughter was also getting out of the car door on the driver side. As he started away she was still partly in the car when it ran over her foot. Mr. Lanphier immediately drove the victim to the hospital for attention. Police investigators ruled that since the victim had not completely left the car she was considered a passenger. Franklin, 34, 3604 N. Long, McHenry, was injured in a collision with another car which was turning into a driveway at 4820 Willow lane. She refused treatment. The other driver, Marion R. Duffy, 4820 W. Willow lane, told police that she was driving west, signalled and started a right turn into her driveway when the Franklin vehicle hit her in the right front fender.
