What's the easiest way to cook fish at home? I always enjoy nutritious, delicious seafood when I eat out...how can I fix it at home? A. There's no mystery to preparing perfect fish dishes at home. Timing is the real secret to fish cookery. Here's a simple and practical method of timing fish...by the inch! 1. Measure fish fillet or steak at the thickest part. 21. Allow 10 minutes of cooking time per inch of thickness. 3. Double cooking time for frozen product. 4. Add an extra 5 minutes for fish in foil or sauce. 5. Test for Doneness: fish flesh turns opaque...flakes easily...flesh doesn't cling to bone. Versatile fish and seafood are adaptable to most any cooking method. Try baking, poaching, frying, steaming, broiling and barbecuing. For baking, use a moderately high temperature (400 degrees F) which helps fish stay moist. Remember, fish is less dense than other meats and takes no time to cook. Select seafood for great-tasting, nutritious meals in minutes. Look for good seasonal buys and specials on frozen fish and seafood on your next shipping trip. MR. AND MRS. Instead, apply the cleaner to a soft, clean cloth~or dip the cloth in a cleaning solution and wring it tightly. 3) When wiping the mirror, do not let the c l e a n i n g s o l u t i o n "puddle" in the frame or any joints, or on the edges of the mirror.
