Craig and Beth became parents of a second son July 7, and they are so excited. Jarred Edward was born in McHenry hospital • weighing just 5 lbs., 3 oz. He had to stay an extra day after mom went l~ home to make sure he gained a little t bit of weight, Two and one-half-year- * old Justin is already willing to share | his toys with his brother. The very J proud maternal grandmother is « Yvonne Ryden; paternal grand- * parents are Mr. and Mrs. Edward , Condon; great-grandparents are . Frances Schmitt and Mr. and Mrs. Art Deneen. SEE THE WEST Some of the Boelter family, Harold Sr., Margaret and Harold Jr., took off in the car for a two-week trip. I say some, because the Boelters have 15 children and only one of the four still , at home made the trip with mom and dad. They headed for Houston, Tex., to visit a nephew who took them to see the famous Gilleys Bar, the Gulf of t Mexico and the Astrodome. He even presented aunt Margaret with a birth day cake the evening before they left , since her birthday would be two days ; later and they'd be on the road. The next stop was Arizona where . they spent some time with friends ' before heading for Las Vegas where . Harold Jr., had a real good time. On the way back they took in the beautiful ' sights in Utah and the Colorado mountains. > Now that they are home, everyone ; is busy preparing for Harold and Margaret's fortieth wedding an- •* niversary Aug. 6. They are marking '„•* the occasion by renewing their vows \ at Shepherd of the Hills church that r afternoon. Margaret's sister in Minneapolis, her original maid of honor, will do the honors again; Harold's brother Eugene is best man; and eldest son Roger will give mom away. All 15 of their children will be * coming from all over for this very HAVING FUN , *1 The Leonards, Robert and Carol, >had their vacations from work last ^ week and they relaxed doing things .'close by. All four kids, Danny, Diana, £« Robbie and Christy went to aunt »* Connie's in Wisconsin for a couple of »*days so mom and dad could have »" some quiet time together. The rest did them good and they were brave % enough to take their children and be a mild summer so we put aside the idea of installing central air in our house. The pool at Knox Park and all the area beaches have record breaking attendance with people looking to cool off. We are fortunate living in a town that has bodies of water close by where we can take a dip and get some relief from these 90 plus degree days. I urge all users of the beach in Lakeland Park to clean up after themselves so the next person can enjoy a nice clean place. Stay Cool! HAPPY BIRTHDAY Jan Walker and Bill Mueller have another birthday July 27. Very best wishes go to Art Kreutzer, Michael Bunting and Rich Reining on the 28th. Jennifer Beam will be 11 years old July 29. July 30 is the day Jane Groth- man and Tom Gerambio Sr., hear the birthday song. Our youngest sister' Sue Jordan adds another year July 31; and others celebrating with her are Lil Benes, Bette Kamp, Helen Sundquist, Ken Vanek, Robert Clover and Brian Danielson. Aug. 2 is the birth date of Murph Kwiatek, Elaine Piasecki, Jerry Bunting and Susan Beck.
